Summary: Garmin Delivers!
Comment: My wife bought me this as a present, because we have had such good luck with our Garmin Nuvi GPS unit. This is absolutely what you want in a golf gps unit. I kept amazing my playing partners by showing them that the readings on the golflogix matched the marked sprinkler heads exactly (and also gave readings to the front and back of the greens). The most important design feature is that you don't have to push any buttons. You just look at the screen, and it tells you what you need to know. Basically, it gives you 3 distances from the tee, such as the front and rear of bunkers, water, etc. As you move forward, it automatically gives you the distance to the green. If you wish, you do have the ability to scroll forward and see the distance to the green from the tee. Granted, there are other units that offer more information, if you are willing to spend the time aiming the crosshairs, etc. But, if like me, you just want to know your distance (without delay), golflogix is an excellent choice.

Summary: Great help on the golf course
Comment: I have been evaluating all of the golf GPS systems available. I purchased this item precisely because it was made by Garmin. It is easy to use, gives me accurate yardage to every point on the course that I need, distance to hazards, lay up distances, and accurate front, center, and back of green. Really helps when I play a new course or one I haven't played often. I use it on my home course as well, and it's a tremendous help in club selection. Highly recommended, and a bargain.

Summary: GolfLogix is Great
Comment: I just got this unit and today for the first time I used it and was very happy with it. This unit is so darn easy to use, pretty much just turn it on and play golf. I like the way it advances to the next hole without having to do anything to the unit. Yardages to the greens and other reference points seemed to be right on. I loaded my home course o this unit and like the way that is always telling you the yardages. I had a lazer rangfinder before and it was hard to pick a target and I am not good enough to need to know if it is 127 yards 120 to the middle or 135 to the back is fine for me. I was supprized on how much I like this thing.

Summary: Works amazingly good
Comment: During my initial round at my home course, the yardages were off some. I called GolfLogix, they re-mapped the course and sent me an e-mail telling me the re-mapped course was available. I downloaded the new mapping and every distance I've checked thus far is dead-on. This is going to be fun.

The unit itself has a very sturdy feel and is easy to use. Their customer service was excellent.

Summary: Golf Logic Review
Comment: This GPS device works better than all others on the market (I've seen them all). The information is very accurate so I don't have to worry about the club I intend to use for an approach shot. The device is simple to operate.
It is very portable. And I don't have to worry about recharging the batteries (I just carry spares).
