Summary: Garmin Golflogix
Comment: I just had my first opportunity to use the Garmin golflogix on the golf course. It was extrememly valuable in providing accurate distance when there were no markings, and on several occasions gave correct readings when the marked distance was wrong.

The only thing that I think should be different is the $29 cost per year for searching the data base and loading golf courses on to the system. The rate per year should be the rate for as long as I have the thing.

Summary: Golf by the Yard.
Comment: Didn't give me enough info on 2007 Model vs 2008 in discription would have been nice to know. Product works very well for a fair price. Now if I could get it to hit my golf ball for me better than I can do to the needed yardage.

Summary: Easy GPS
Comment: The Golf logix is very easy to use. Just pop in the batteries and down load your courses, turn it on for 15-20 minutes at the golf course the first time and your off to the races. Most of the time the yardages where with-in three yards of the golf cart GPS system. Some of the time there was as much as a twenty yard difference.Only one complaint is the infomercial says the downloading of your courses is free, they forget to mention the $29.99 yearly fee for the download subscription. They should change that in the infomercial it's a little misleading. Over all i am very satisfied with the Golf logix GPS.

Summary: Golflogix GPS
Comment: My handicap index is 18.4 and on most of the couses that I have played using the Golflogix GPS system, it has been very helpfull regarding the distance to the dogleg or bunker and to the front, center and back of the green.

Summary: Best Golf GPS for the money
Comment: Garmin is a leader in GPS equipment. With internet access for software updates and course maps it couldn't be eaiser to use. My only issue is the Windows XP USP driver that needs to be downloaded and installed. Didn't work on my desktop but performed well on my laptop. Without the driver you can't talk between the GPS and PC. Would help if the manual was included. Unit performs flawlessly.
