Summary: GolfLogix GPS Comment: Does what it puports to do without any complications. Generally accurate depending on the quality of the downloaded course data. Provides about four 18-hole rounds service on a set of batteries.

Summary: So far, so good! Comment: I have been searching for a GPS or viewfinder and saw this one for $183 (a month ago). Just couldn't pass it up and took a chance. The two negative reviews were both Mac people and that had me worried, as I am a Mac guy too. Happy to say that so far, so good for me. Software worked flawlessly. Yes, it was as easy to set-up and load as the other reviewers have said. The first time out I was worried. About the 11th hole and I started to get weird yardages - 700 and 800 yards to the green, etc. I turn it off and back on and it seemed to go back to normal. Had the same thing happen on one hole today, so I am thinking that it is a random occurance with the satellite and the stored yardages. All in all, I have been very pleased to this point.

Summary: Good Value, Good Product Comment: I have used this all summer. Pros; It gives front, back, and middle green distances. It is accurate most of the time. Courses get updated regularly, and it does speed up play. When accuracy is questionable yardage markers prevail, but those issues don't come up too often. I have found it to be a reliable performer. Now the question is, are you good enough to land those distances? Cons; The only real issue I have is battery replacement- about 3 rounds. Otherwise, a very good product at a very good price

Summary: GolfLogix 2007 Model Comment: I received my GolfLogix via FREE shipping in 4 days. It works fine, as advertised, and the database of courses includes every one I have looked for. I think the '07 model is a good deal with a saving of $100 over the '08 model. The only difference is storing 10 courses instead of 20 (do you ever play more than 10 courses before going back home?) and not having the last shot distance capability. Not worth another $100 to me. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Summary: GOLF LOGIX GPS BY GARMIN Comment: I found this to be a very easy to use product that functions as advertised. It was a little putzie getting the software downloaded and functioning with the unit, but after that it was simple. I would like to see more internal memory to allow more course selections to be loaded into the unit but overall a very nice product.
