Summary: Gotta get a Garmin Comment: What more can I say about this than already has been said. Much better than the previous Vista. The old one had horrible satellite reception. I would have to constantly find a clear line of sight for satellites for it to see them, this one you don't.
Excellent.

Summary: GPS Best Buy!! Comment: This is my first GPS and it lived up to my expectations and then some. The screen is very bright, even on a sunny day in the snow. The tracks work great and are very accurate when snowmobiling, even at high speeds and under tree cover. Battery life is very good on rechargable batteries, although I haven't had a chance to time it.

Summary: Amazing Handheld Comment: I love my GPS! I previously owned a Magellan Meridian Gold and I was great for it's time, but technology outran it. The color screen is very readable. The battery-life is great, maybe 12-18 hours on a pair of alkaline AA's. The digital compass is handy for when your not moving and trying to get you bearings. I'm using the Garmin MapSource, North America NT software, which works great. I'm using a 2G micro SD card and it will hold maps for nearly all of the USA. The unit is small enough to keep in your pocket.
Highly recommend this unit!

Summary: Excellent in flight reception Comment: So far it has worked fine with a good reception signal. I used the other day in a plane and was so cool. I could see where I was in the default world map, the altitude (GPS Altitude), my speed my distance to destiny and the time to destiny. Beside I could draw the exact trajectory of the flight (COOL). But be aware that to do that I was near a window not in the center groups of seats, where during my return flight I could not get a signal.

Summary: Very Accurate Comment: Best features are the USB PC interface cable and high sensitivity to receive signals even in heavy forest canopy. Garmin's warranty is also fantastic. I accidentally broke the lanyard attachment on the case and they replaced my GPS under warranty. Took 3 business days for the turn around.
