Summary: Garmin etrex
Comment: Hello

I purchased this to use while riding my bike & I am very please with it. I was only able to load 1 state map (SC)into the etrex but no problem.

I recommend this etrex. Good buy.

Summary: eTrex Venture HC
Comment: Great product and very affordable. My dad wanted one of these to map out his fishing spots in the lake by our family cottage. It's so hard to find a GPS that comes with maps of cottage country in Canada, but the Venture HC has our lake. Easy to set waypoints on the map and works quite well when travelling by car or boat. If you're jogging, the speed readings won't be so accurate though.

Summary: fun for the whole family
Comment: Picked up this GPS to start Geocaching with the family. Great little device which is easy to use and rugged enough to stand up to two 3.5 year olds and a 6 year old.

Summary: Great product
Comment: The eTrex Venture as with the rest of the Garmin line works great. I use this unit while trail riding and am yet to loose signal in the thickest woods. The only thing that would make it better is if it came with mapping software.

Summary: I love my Etrex Venture HC
Comment: My son-in-law introduced me to Geocaching and loaned me his older model Garmin Legend. I struggled looking for caches when around trees, metal structures and power lines they all seemed to effect the satellite signals. When I received my Garmin eTrex Venture HC, my wife and I went out to search for some caches. She used the old model while I tried to familiarize myself with the newer one. The Venture HC out performed the older Legend by far. The newer Garmin responds to satellite signals and my movements much quicker. Trees, metal structures and powerlines have little effect on the Venture. Now my wife wants one of her own and I don't blame her.
