Summary: Not quite an identical replacement... Comment: I ordered a replacement for my suction-cup and A/C adapter in hopes that it would fix the periodic power-losses I am seeing with my Nuvi 660. I had my previous cable strung underneath my dashboard and up to the lower left-hand corner of my windshield which resulted in just a little bit of slack. However, when I went to replace the cable, I found that the A/C adapter cable that comes with this product is about 6 inches shorter than the stock cable that came with my Nuvi. It's not long enough to work with my current configuration...and I will now have to find an alternate means of mounting my Nuvi.

Summary: just what you need for another vehicle Comment: Original mount kit. The only thing that can make this better would be a way to wire direct in dash with fuse.

Summary: Best there is Comment: Garmin Suction Cup Mount with 12-Volt Adapter for Nuvi 660 (010-10935-02)
This is the best mount that I can find, however, it's not perfect, so I took off one star.
The good news is that the mount really holds to my dashboard. A lot of 3rd party units will pop free. You can mount it with a temporary sticker or a permanent sticker. I used the temporary one and it works fine. It's also superior in that it does not obscure the driver's view.
On the downside: It's a little awkward to plug in and remove your Garmin GPS unit.
Also. sometimes the ball mount (the part the GPS connects to, separates from the suction cup section as I'm trying to connect or disconnect my unit. It can easily be plugged back in.
It's nice to be able to swivel your GPS to suite each driver.
It's compatible with the GTM-10 and 20 road status systems.
All in all, it works and is a much better solution that the 3rd party products in the market.

Summary: Doesn't Suck... Comment: I just love my Garmin nuvi 660. I don't love this mount. I have attached the suction cup to windshields and to the bundled plastic disc, but I haven't found a way to secure the mount reliably. Changes in temperature tend to cause the suction cup to loosen, causing the Garmin to tumble. Once in a parking lot it managed to fall on the emergency blinker button, leaving my car blinking for hours. Once while I was driving it fell to the floor around the accelerator pedal. Not good. My suction cup, in short, doesn't suck...
The reason I purchased a replacement was because the original ball-and-socket joint failed. It might have become damaged during one of its tumbles.

Summary: Falling Off Comment: After 8 months of using it (removing and reattaching) to my windshield, it starting to keep on falling off the windshield of my 2004 Toyota Sienna. It seems to be happening similar to the original suction cup that came with my NUVI 660.
