Summary: One Amazing Specialized tool
Comment: OK, Lets see where do I start, as for the Garmin GPSMAP 60CSX, Its an amazing specialized tool that can surely not only save the day, but get you out of so many burdens, as well by having it all inside of it simply by having added a North America NT navigator not only will it additionally act as an amazing map and relocator in finding back your tracks, but additionally will navigate you through either highways, city streets and back roads for getting anywhere in any manner you may like.
It can additionally serve as a vacation saver for both domestic as well as also international whether it be Asia, or Europe it can obsolutely navigate you anywhere period, if you only simply add the additional maps and or navigational softwares for where ever you may ever need to go.
You can also optionally add a larger 2 Gig memory card so that you can even keep everything on it so no matter where you may ever need to end up you shall always be properly covered. Additionally its even water resist should you decide to use it via on foot, bicycle, or even motorbike.

Summary: Awesome GPS
Comment: This is my second GPS (I upgraded from a eTrex Legend) and I Love it! It does an excellent job keeping a signal when in the woods where my old one wouldn't have had a signal at all. I also like the digital compass and altimeter even though I thought they would just be another toy feature when I bought it. I have some maps loaded on it now too and with a 1GB card I can hold most all of the US. You can also save the tracks to the memory card. The navigation features don't seem to work well for me though but I think that may be because I am using an old version of Mapsource (v7). Overall I would highly recommend this.

Summary: Awesome Portable GPS From GARMIN
Comment: I had the Garmin 60CS and it worked great. I now upgraded to the 60CSX. The 60CSX is awesome. You get signal just about anywhere even inside your house. I like to geocache every once in a while and this unit is perfect for it. Especially when you have a lot of tree cover in the woods, the unit can still hold a strong signal. Also add the 1 gig memory card and you can get all of the US installed on it, and if you use the topo and city nav. together you can get half of the US installed. It stores lots of data and gives accurate door to door directions. If your thinking about it, go for it you wont be sorry. I bought it here on amazon and signed up for the mazon credit card and got [...]dollars off and then had a Garmin [...] mail in rebate, so I saved [...] on the unit. I love it. I Love all Garmin products I have used them for years on land and sea.

Summary: This is the GPS Unit you want!
Comment: Bought this from Amazon and it is fantastic. My review may sound like I own Garmin stock - which I do not. Upgraded from a Garmin eTrex and found the 60CSx very easy to use. Learned all of the basic pages in an hour or so. The unit is very intuitive and you don't really need the manual. The features and accuracy are the best. Map functions are cool with ability to drag an arrow to a desired spot and create a go-to point. All display fields are changeable and the accuracy in the field is outstanding. Compass switches from GPS-based to magnetic after x seconds if you stop moving. Recommended to a friend and he bought one as well.
