Summary: Great, but there may be airport security issues Comment: I bought this product for use with my Magellan Maestro 3225. The suctioned base mounts perfectly into the Nav-Mat, and the pad does not move, regardless of the angle at which it sits on the dash board while you drive.
I purchased the product because I was going to be driving while traveling out of state. As it turned out, my only issue with the product was that airport security personnel didn't know what to make of the object, and they asked to have it re-screened on two out of three passes through security. Anticipating this, the best thing would be to either have it stored in checked in bags, or to remove it and put it out for scanning if you are taking it via carry-on luggage, as you would with a laptop... at least until airport personnel become familiar with it.

Summary: Great product - poor atachment - any help appreciated Comment: I have twice had my properly attached c340 come "un-suctioned" from the Nav-Mat and fall right off. Thankfully no damage to the c340 itself. I think I would love using the Nav-Mat if I had more confidence that the GPS would stay fixed to the Nav-Mat's disc. Any suggestions would be greatfully appreciated. Wonderful transaction and quick, well packaged, delivery. Now I just need to restore my faith that the attached GPS will stay put. Thank you.

Summary: GPS Best Friend Comment: I purchased my first GPS on Black Friday. Living in California I can't mount the GPS to my windshield but didn't want to stick the adheasive disc that came with my GPS to my car's dashboard especially since I wanted to use it in different cars. Well Nav Mat came to the rescue! This product is nothing short of amazing. It's really well made, nicely weighted like a heavy bean bag, and has a special gripping material on the bottom creating an exceptionally stable, secure mount for your GPS system. Highly recommended!!!

Summary: Perfect alternative to windshield mounting Comment: I live in a neighborhood where even a ring-mark left on my windshield could invite a break-in. This product is very stable on the dash--it has never slid in hundreds of miles of driving. I leave the suction mounting attached to the pad and remove my Magellen GPS from the clip stand for easy stowing and quick set-up for each new use. I highly recommend this item.Nav-Mat Portable GPS Dash Mount

Summary: GPS dashboard holder Comment: I have been very pleased with this product. There is no set up - just place on the dashboard and place the GPS system in it. This make it so easy to take the GPS off and hide it when not in use. With this, I don't have to permanently mount my GPS on the windshield or dashboard. I recommend this for anyone.
