Summary: A great purchase
Comment: I purchased this for use with my Magellan 4000. Works great, no slipping or sliding on the dash. I used double sided tape to secure the holder in the mat. Prices for similar product in stores were much higher.

Summary: Walmart charges twice as much. Great with my Garmin 255.
Comment: Purchased one at Walmart for $ 27, 2 weeks ago, to go with my new Garmin 255 (purchased from Amazon). Works great with my Garmin. Like it much better than the window mount. Seemed expensive. Then I saw this on Amazon for $ 13.22. Ordered it. It is identical to the Walmart one. Has a different name on the packaging, but is identical. Returning the Walmart one this afternoon. The item is probably worth $ 15 max.

I'm very satisfied with the item.

Summary: Works great even in a sports car
Comment: This is a great product. Works just as described. I have a Tomtom One XL and a Mercedes SLK. I have read previous reviews saying that this product doesn't work well with either. I have had no problems. My dash and windshield are very slanted & it makes it hard for the Tomtom to mount on the window without having to put a cloth or something under it to stabilize it. This product just sits on the dash & doesn't move. The person who said it slides off the dash must have been trying to put it near the cup holder at the front of the dash. If you put it nearer the window & not on top of the speaker (where the cupholder is) it just does its job. It makes it easy to stow away & make changes to your route by just picking it up. No more little circles on the window & fighting to get it just right on the windshield. I just bought my daughter a GPS for Christmas & bought her this little gem as well. I give it 5 stars.

Summary: Very Adaptable
Comment:
When removing my Garmin Street Pilot from my windshield I ruined the suction pad so ordered this with the hope I could lay the GPS in it. I removed all of the mounting bracket except the power link from the GPS and simply layed it in the Bracketron. Works great. Bracketron UFM-100BL Nav-Mat GPS Friction Dash Pad

Summary: Lower price option; works perfectly
Comment: I bought this instead of the official Garmin dash pad because it was considerably cheaper. It's a simple, easy solution to the problem I was having keeping my GPS attached to the dash of Honda Element.
