Summary: Does its job
Comment: This definitely does its job. It doesn't slide around on the dash and handles any gps mount. Good product.

Summary: No slip GPS dashboard mount
Comment: I bought this to replace the window mount and I'm glad I did. I'm using the same Garmin window mount bracket, but now on the Bracketon Friction Dash Pad, and it stays put and is easily adjusted. The Amazon price that I paid is $20 less than the price at Best Buy. And because I can place the friction pad out of site there's no tell-tale circle left on the windshield to alert would-be thieves of the possible presence of a GPS in the car.

Summary: Bracketron UFM-100BL Nav-Mat GPS Friction Dash Pad
Comment: Excellent product for anchoring your GPS if you don't want to ruin your dash with the stick on pad; or if you have no other way of mounting your GPS. Item works as advertised. It is a little large but can be conveniently placed on the dash. You will not be disappointed.

Summary: Dash Pad for Automotive GPS
Comment: This product is everything it is advertised to be. I can place my GPS at the best and closest angle for viewing and yet, quickly remove it out of sight when I park the car. It sits securely on the friction pad and can be adjusted on the fly.

Summary: Solid Pad BUT Go 720 Needs New Mount
Comment: This pad has been impressively stable on the dash of my car during 2 weeks of use. Caveat emptor: It's not compatible with the Go 720 right out-of-the-box. The sorry little OEM suction mount Tomtom provides is too short (and unreliable) for this or most other pads. But I don't think it's fair to hold this against this (or any other similar pad) for a design short-coming on Tomtom's part; it might be worth the money to buy a new solid after-market mount like the Arkon Mini mount that works just fine with this pad. Take a look at the product pics for more details.

PROS:
- Just chuck it on the dash and it stays put
- Easy to remove and hide from view while parked
- Heavy and stable

CONS (not really a negative but you should consider this point):
- Padding is thick and will BARELY accomodate a Go 720 when mounted on the OEM suction mount; consider purchasing the Arkon TTGO115 mount for the Go 720 for use with this (or similar) pad.
