Summary: Effective dash mount solution for half OEM price Comment: I lost an OEM Garmin dash mount in a rental car so chose this for half the money instead. The pad works well with the suction cup of Garmin Nuvi 660. I don't have any complaint but want to offer a couple comments after several months' use:
1. It has a relatively large footprint so I have to orient the Garmin suction cup very close to the edge of the round tray so I can reach the GPS touch control from the driver's seat.
2. After 4 months I have had recently the suction cup falling down three times. It has been solved by cleaning the suction surfaces with an IPA wipe so I am guessing dirt and moisture build-up around the suction cup are to blame.

Summary: Works Great With the Dash Express Comment: I bought this to allow me to mount my Dash Express GPS in rental cars and although both it and the Dash are larger than my Garmin 750 as well as it's Garmin made bean-bag dash mount, it works perfectly! I even bought a second one to add to my old Garmin 350 when I give it to one of my children. I would have bought the Garmin bean-bag mount for the 350 since the Garmin mount is smaller, however, it costs much more.
I travel to both Minnesota and California often (the two states that do NOT allow windshield mounts), plus, I rent cars every week. Some cars and SUVs have deep dashes which make windshield mounting difficult even when allowed by law. This is an excellent solution for those situations. I have never had the mount slip or move regardless of temperature.
Great product, especially for the Dash Express!

Summary: Unbelievable for the money! Comment: I have both a Garmin Nuvi 250W and also just purchased a Magellan Maestro 3250 and this Nav Mat is great. I can't believe I spent what I did on the Garmin one. Way more expensive. How can they sell this for that cheap?? Best Buy has the exact model of this Nav Mat for $41.99. Unbelievable. I would buy it immediately!!

Summary: Well Worth The Cost Comment: Bought 2 of these for GPS units in two autos. These are far superior to mounting on the windshield. You can move the GPS closer to you (if needed) than a sloping windshield mount may permit. The suction cup attachment on both units (different brands) hold very tight and haven't released for a week at a time. (I have to release them to take them indoors.)
Makes it very easy to remove GPS from dash for security purposes.
The base does not slide at all even when taking sharp turn Interstate highway exits.
If you have a portable GPS, then this is a must have.

Summary: I don't have to worry about someone stealing my Garmin Comment: After spending more than $300 on a Garmin Nuvi 660, I didn't like the fact that the standard windshield mount broadcasts to all thieves that I have the unit. After considerable research I settled on the Bracketron UFM-100BL friction pad which I'm using in a Camry by mounting the windshield bracket on the smooth black surface. I like the fact that this pad has a smaller footprint than the standard Garmin pad and is considerably cheaper, even with shipping. If I am in a questionable neighborhood or a large public parking lot I simply unplug the cord and store the pad and Garmin in my console. It takes about 15 seconds and provides me peace of mind.
